Company History - Celebrating Sixty Years of ServiceRycenga Building center had its grass roots back in the 1930’s with Charles Rycenga Sr. started a small steam operated portable saw mill where he produced boards, lumber, and fire wood. Brothers, Louis and Charles Rycenga Jr. would deliver the fire wood around Grand Haven to the cottages, homes and businesses. After WWII Charles and Louis opened a lumber yard and started to supply the Tri-Cities with building material. Sixty years later Rycenga’s has grown to more than 100,000 square feet of covered storage and showroom display area. With a large amount of trucks, vans and many other vehicles, we are able to serve our area with the best service possible.
